Fitted it today, RED spring inside. Not getting much ppssshhttt at all. Needs a shed load of boost just for a wee prrp!

WHEN i get the BLUE spring there will be a difference right??

Anyone got 1st hand info?

Yep, I had the same problem.

You don't need to puch the car hard with the blue spring. It makes nice whooshes with the blue spring.

Put me red spring back in last week. Couldn't hear a thing. Blue has plenty of whoosh, so back on it went

 

red = wrc chatter
blue = whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh

Guess which I'm using?

BTW - on my decat MY99 with the forge blue spring - I get MAJOR flames, and not a flamer kit in sight

 

OMG, you are actually setting up your dump valves to get the right noise rather than protecting your turbos and reducing lag? I feel so unfashionable

 

SJ - Funny you should mention the flames. Just put on an HKS Super Dragger (without the down pipe ) Guess what the next purchase is!!
