It's a good idea to, yes. Won't make any difference to anything, until the oem piping would have split.
But the new stuff won't.

I think the flow rate may be a tad better according to some studies.

The std "Y" hose is known to split under increased boost. Best upgade it before it lets go

Speak to Rally design www.raldes.co.uk they seem to be the cheapest or have a look in the Scoobynet shop!
