Quick question: -

Should my MY01 wagon's steering have a mind of its own?

It seems to 'tramline'. This happens during acceleration, cruising and breaking, and seems to be most dependant on road surface.

I have had the car for a little over 6 weeks, have tried to live with the problem, but it is starting to get me down.

Any thoughts?

The wider the tyre the worse the effect. Scoobs can suffer from this if the tyres are worn or the geometry is off.

Check your tyre pressures?
Get your dealer to check the geometry (they are known to have a very wide tolerance from the factory)
