Part two of troublesome day....

Had my MY98 about 6 months, no problems, then two on one day... not fun.

Having been noticing, what I thought was a bit of condensation inside the car recently, but haven't really took much notice, occassionaly seem to get annoying dribble down the drivers side of the windscreen as car warms up..

Anyway, after leaving car in Gatwicks Car Park for 4 days coming back to find the inside of the car fairly damn, need to dry the inside of the windscreen and spend most of the drive home with heating high trying to dry inside out. Front carpets do appear to be slightly damp and around the handbreak console was also damp.. initial thoughts are dodgy seal on front wind screen, has one got any other ideas?

where abouts are you noticing more condensation? If there is motre on the back screen than you would expect, most of that model does so naturally. Dont forget, that due to thie weather change, it does not take much now to create this problem yourself. As, by warming the car up inside, then letting it cool down, draws the cooler /damp air back into the car, causing the problem. Obviously, when the condensation gets heavier, it will then form on lower surfaces too, ie, carpets.
If its a gen water leak, then more likely to crawl through a window seal or sunroof and will be in a "specific area", not all inside the car.
