Unhappy

First part of two part troublesome day....

[MY98] When I got back home last night, got out of car when to grab some stuff from the back, rear door was locked. Didn't think anything of it maybe caught the catch in the drivers door and locked the central locking. But when looking at catch it appeared to be jammed open (the plastic locker inside the door release handle) and it doesn't want to move? Also can't lock the car? Key turns on way, but has huge resistance (don't fancy breaking key in lock) Anyone got any ideas before I start taking the door apart?

Cheers
Chris

Get WD40 and the straw type applicator into the lock from the outside, where you put the key in and give a good spray. Should see you right. If the drivers lock doesnt turn fully then the rest of the central locking wont work. You need tofree off that drivers lock. Mine was getting a little resistance too but that seemed to do the job
