Sorry for my lack of technical knowledge.
But can someone recommend the correct Rocker cover Gasket sealant prior to fitting the gasket at the weekend.
There are many types to buy... liquid, Silicone , non-hardening type.. etc.
I am attempting to do the half-moon caps as well on my Impreza Catalunya 1997 model.

I used blue silicone sealer, worked very well.. no leaks now

someone mentioned using somthing called grey 3 bond sealer..?

Any good quality silicon sealant will do the job.

Just a thought. I tried all sorts of different sealants on an Audi80 rocker cover and it leaked every time. In the end, I tried it without any sealant at at all and its been fine ever since

We use Tribond, but whatever you use it must be hydrocarbon proof or the oil will break it down and it will leak again.
