Is it the one in the cat where the engine fire light comes on that you're looking for?

Question

I dont know.
I've got a s/s decat on so the sensor there goes straight into the down pipe if it is the one.
I've also just done a test and the engine check shows code 11 and 13 which says crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor.
What does this mean???
I think i took these two out and cleaned them. Could this be why the code comes up???

the car just wont start if those arent working. crank position sensor is at front of engine between power steering and alternator.

check its plugged in right. reset your ecu, then try again.

shiper,

I replied to the other thread that you had posted on as well about not starting - WONT START WHEN WARM! HELP !!!!!!!!

Best read the codes first & determine which code is showing & then what sensor it is.

Regards

Jonhy.

if it is the temp sensor they tend to be right under the intake manifold on the off side of the car, are brown and need a 17mm ring spanner to remove, oh and they are a real tw@t to get at, you have to remove most of the oil breather pipes and such to get at them!
