Hi All.
My cyncro in 4th gear is done for the second time!.
The car has now done 80000km the last lastet to 40000km and now it´s done again.
The Q is do any of You know if there is a better cyncro for 4th gear?.
There is no problem with any other gears!
The car is a euro spec GT my99 with the new bellhouseing.
Any info would be great.
Regards.

I have an STI5 that has had the synchro's wear and become crunchy 3 times. I was told that the synchro's from an STI4 wrer stringer so had these put into my 'box only for the synchro's to go again after 7500 miles. I would say just use standard parts and get them fitted by someone who really knows what they're doing and then use good synthetic oil.

Thanks for the info.
I will just buy the original syncro and just live with it!.
I drive 25000-30000 km a year, so i almost have to take it apart every year!! Bugger.
