Just out of interest...
What turbo is fitted to the STi versions 1 and 2?
I know the V3 onwards STis had VFs fitted. Is it just the TD05 from the WRX or do they have a VF turbo as well?

Cheers fellas,
you can look on the turbo compressor housing, it's usually there but on my TD05, it's at the bottom, so you can't see it til the turbo's off!
That's a bit of a shame actually, because I was hoping it would be a nice big 90 degree inlet VF that would slap straight onto my 96UK

I believe although only from reading on SN that they are the TD05..
You could make it front entry though!!
Mr Wallis is thinking about doing just that I think so wait for the DIY thread
