Does anyone know approx how much a full re-spray would cost on a scooby?. I have found a car that is very cheap but has been keyed very badly.

There was a post asking the very same question a couple of days ago. I can't find it now though. I seem to remember that the price was somewhere between £1000 and £2000.

Can the keying not be fixed with a new fangled "Chips away" type thing, or is it REALLY bad?

i have a air brush artist and paint shop in Norofolk will do respray for around 500 thats for same colour ,i think he charges more for colour changes though.the guys are good they do all the paint work on bikes and cars that involves airbrushing and complete painting samples of their work can be seen.

My god a respray in England is a total rip off !
Here in Wales you can get them for £500 done by my local garage who have been doing resprays/accident repairs for 20 years and that price includes the shuts, windows out rubbers off etc.
And they are excellent so it would be cheaper if you drove to wales borrowed a car for the time taken to do the respray then pick it up !
