can anyone give advice on the first thing to look for when the car is turning over but wont start.

Most likely the water temp sensor. If it fails, the value defaults to 80degC and the cold start routines aren't used.

Next most likely is cam and crank position sensors.

I assume it has got fuel

maybe its jumpd the timing/ or the big slow burn fuse under bonnet has popped!

just got back in thanks for the replys .how could i check sensors and how do you obtain fault codes.by the way theres fuel in the tank but the systoms are just like no fuel
