Question

i have a legacy estate new for 1994 and i'm after mounting harnesses for the front seats whilst still being able to fully use both the back seats and the full load area.
my idea was to use the lower inertia reel bolt as one locator and one of the sub frame bolts as the other and run all four straps from them would this work/be safe?

NO!

This would be fatal in an accident - there is no upper anchor point for the belt as per the OEM ones - it would just flatten the seat back, and you would embed your head in the wheel.....

Yes. Fit them with eye bolts then you can unclip them and use the back seat if necessary.
