Just wondered as i'm in need of a new battery, partky due 2 the copious amounts of ICE now draining power, & while i was recommended optima yellow top 4 this kinda thing i was looking at a similar kinda spec battery namely the exide maxxima deep cycle thingy. However when at garage last night while the size appeared 2b just about right 2 fit in the space currently taken by battery the terminals seemed 2b on the far side of the battery from the wires so wirey bits woodn't stretch that far
Anyhow guna c if they do 1 with teminal bits nearer the other side but i just wondered wot the story is with size & spec of wot batteries shud b 4 da scoob?
Any recommendations also gr8fully received How easy wood it b 2 extend the wiring bits thou?

Any shop selling the batteries should be able to advise what the correct type is. Most come in two types, with the terminals swapped. In my MY95 it has the both terminal at the back with LIVE on the left and (whatever the other one is) on the right. Looks like you got the wrong version

Just bought a battery this weekend due to the cold weather finally knacking it. Terminals on the turbo seem to be on opposite side to normal.
Codes I got were 005L or 651L. Just went for a run of the mill one from the autoshop as guaranteed for 3 years and I'll be getting a new Scoob before that runs out. Was only £50.
