I have a big problem with my Engine. I have a piston which is breaking up and will need to take the engine out and strip to fix this problem.The car is L Reg (93\94) and has done 120,000 miles and has had 6 owners.I would like to know if this is a common problem at this age and would you replace all 4 Pistons means the engine is out and mainly is it worth it ?
Your thoughts would be most gratefull.

If you can afford it I would suggest replacing all pistons as a minimum and probably the rods as well.
