#1
i know that these wires are 2 green ones and two black ones but are they just straight green and black or are the wires stripped with another colour ie: black with a red stripe etc, and where are they cause ive looked under the dash by the steering columb and i cant find em, and what sort of plugs do they have on them, are there any pictures of these wires to show what they look like,
thanks in advance

its the plugs that are green / black, not the wires.
(On my 00MY turbo)
putting the black plugs together reads fault codes.
putting green ones together cycles through test of all circuits (fans come on, boost soleniod ticks like ****, etc)
position of them is under steering columb, get your head down on the mats in the foot well, mine are quite easy to get at without removing anything.
Andy
Edit to add : green ones are t shaped twin wire plugs.
..............Black ones are single wire small plugs.
Edit again.... as I've just seen the heading to your post.
These wires don't reset the ecu.
If that's what you want to do just disconnect the battery for a couple of hours...job done

Just thought i'd mention. Reset mine last night and the car runs better when cold and when pulling away at low revs. Seems to run a bit smoother. Wouldn't say there was any real performance increase. Car just runs a bit better. One thing i did note though is that idle revs when cold are a little higher.
Just disconnected the battery from the ecu (actually removed the ECU from the car, effectively the same thing).
