Have got a piper cross induction kit fiitted to my MY00, Engine check light came on at the weekend and had it taken in to Subaru.

They reckon its the airflow sensor and that because of the induction kits fitted they will not do the work under warranty (fair enough I suppose)

They have serviced the car for me before and said nothing about the so called damaging particles these air filters let through which damage the airflow sensor.

Then they whack the price of the airflow meter to me and say £320!!! is this correct for a little sensor?
