Anyone removed this at all, and is there any benefits to this at all ?
I don't use it (I live in Scotland after all !) so plenty of cold air flowing here !

Can any parts be used to an advantage elsewhere ?

Air con costs £1000 fitted from Subaru, ones breakers yards will for anything over £300/350 depending if you take it out or they do. One in for sale section went for £400 the other week.

Taking out will save you a lot of weight but you will need to find a blanking plate for the air con button inside. It will take a good couple of hours+ from start to finish to get the whole system out depending on how technically minded you are.

I was thinking of getting one but now the weather is getting cooler I shall wait until early next year.
