Does fitting STI front mud flaps mean drilling the shell?

Any ideas? Don't really want to drill the inner wings/chassis leg just to put a self tapper in to hold the flap.

Anyone fitted these?

These were fitted to the car when I bought it. I'll post pic's in the morning for you.

I just used some sealant/adhesive on the attachment point between the bracket and the guard.

Its the stuff coach builders use for sticking together bus panels - its a flexible silicone based adhesive - I've had it on for about six months and its still rock solid.

Saves drilling I suppose...

Not if you use the little mini P1 type ones available from your friendly ? dealer. They attach using the existing screw/popfittings in the wheel arch ( 1/4 turn each anf=d they then pull out)

STI flaps is what I have and keep more cr@p off the car.

Anyone got any pics of the install?
