Cool

Can anybody tell me whether the final drive ratios are the same on 92-4 UK Legacy Turbos and 99/00 Impreza Turbos please.

Legacy UK are the same as UK Impreza. Front diff 3.9, rear diff 3.54
Gearbox is interchangeble, rear diff is too, but the rear driveshafts are slightly different, as is the propshaft flange locating ring.

Question

How can you have different ratios front/rear, does this not confuse the centre unit?

The UK centre diff runs a step down 1.1:1 transfer box. The Jap cars use a 1:1 for some reason, and therefore the F+R Jap diffs are the same, whereas the UK are different.
