Just fitted a boost gauge and been playing... car is MY00 with Tek2, full decat and itg. Ive seen peak at 1.3bar.... is this good bad or indifferent? The day was normal warmish (20 deg c i guess) lunchtime...

I'm not sure what a standard car puts out or wether what im seeing is too much or not enough... anyone like to comment?

Sound about right to me although i'm no expert... Mine with similar mods boosts up to 1.3 Bar in the high gears, but it settles and holds about 1.1 or 1.2 bar depending on atmospheric conditions. Low gears it boosts up to about 1.1 bar and holds 1.0 bar.....hope this helps.

 

Cheers Manny. Mine boosts to 1.1 in the lower gears and holds 1.2 in the higher gears with a once only peak at 1.3 - all this on Optimax of course.
