I know there are numerous threads on the Dawes subject, and having read most of them, i still find myself asking the same question. Has anyone in the whole history of the device, suffered big problems as a result of fitting it?
In the event of me taking the plunge, is there anyone in the Harrogate area who is in the know and would fit the thing for me for a 8 pack, or whatever?

I've had no problems but I do keep an eye on things with a AFM. I live in Mirfield and work in Leeds so if you're near I'm sure I could help although you could do it yourself it's that easy. I understand the wanting a bit of moral support as I was the same but fitting is a 5 minute job. You just need to find a road and do a few setup runs and you're done.

Is the AFR really needed, the scooby runs lean as **** so this really should never be a problem unless the MAF is dead or dying?
