If your new system is less restrictive then the boost will drop, I think. You may have the same performance just at a lower boost. When I fitted my exhaust and intercooler piping the peaks were higher but settled lower - maybe the ECU set the boost lower to compensate for the peaks. Fitted an MBC and just upped the boost again. Did you notice that you get more overboost due to the extra flow?

i felt before it used to really throw you back in the seat where as now its lost that, i put the old exhaust back on and its back to normal, im puzzled , i thought hks was supposed to improve performance not take it away, especially at what it cost me

Improve over standard, but Fujistibo is a performance exhaust anyway.

The super dragger is the "legal" exhaust that HKS do, so is probably not as good as a their other one the name of which escapes me.

Less restriction should generally mean more boost, but you can get overboost followed by under boost (oscillation) if the change is too great.

Given that you have a non standard ECU, comparisons are harder to make, but I would say stick with the old system and just replace the downpipe.

but im stuck with either a hks or a blitz and my old system is knackered and has rusted out, which is the better one of the two
