turbo timer,re-handbrake?

Hi,
Am just fitting turbo timer to my99 and have hard wired into ignition loom and have wires soted in ecu,but have to tap into handbrake wire that shows 12v,0v when the handbrake is used.does anyone know which it is,ive a pink wire running to a connector under the h/brake plunger but cant get a reading off this,also in front of the h/brake theres a module with three wires coming out,but is awkward to get separated and dubious about pulling hard in case it snaps.
