Longer startup time
#1
Anyone had this? its a standard MY99. Its only done it a few times since I got it, but it seems when the weather changes and the temperature outside goes up, I have trouble starting the car. Normally it turns over after a second. Yesterday evening it just sat there turning over and over and I dont think it would have started so I stopped, retried and it firedup immediately. I could smell a little whiff of fuel. Slight flooding? Then it ran as normal. Any ideas? Coilpacks? Like I said its only done it like 3times in 8months or so. All the rest of the time it starts immediately, like this morning, TIA.

have had similar probs, once it was a dirty face on cam sensor, other time the ecu needed a reprogram for the ignition key, as it had "lost" its memory for the key code, a quick check with someone with a diagnostic reader will find out which it is, otherwise cn still keep happening
