Guys need I need your advise and suggestions please

I am starting to plan my next upgrade, current spec is UK MY00 with full decat (SS D/P Prodrive center and BB), ITG filter, Intercooler splitter and a BR tweaked TEK2 map.

I could go the Hybrid Turbo, FMIC, Custom Map, Uprated Fuel pump route but this is major money even if I left the FMIC out of the calculation. So I have been thinking of alternatives and came up with a) reducing the car's weight or b) lowering the gearing.

I don't think a) is an option as I like my interior and sound deadening! b) looks like it might work but I don't know if it's feasible to bolt on, say, a P1 gearbox or install a P1 gearset for example or how much it would cost or wether a lower gear ratio would suit the torque / power curve of my car. I am not too bothered about top speed so could live with a reduced top end....Help please!

Big Turbo with an uprated top mount should be enough to see some pretty useful gains and also a big change in the way the car feels.
