anybody had this problem before?

the hand brake light stays on even after handbrake is released.

happened yeaterday but went off after a while.

happened this morning but stayed on until car turned off.

any help appreciated.

you need to top up your brake fluid

or it could be the little float in the reservoir gets stuck.. just undo the cap dab it with a finger and bobs yer uncle (also check fluid level at the same time. have to do mine every 3-4 months.

Yup - I did this one 3 weeks ago. All was fine, except the
discs were badly worn. So, check pads and discs as well.
