Myself and a couple of other local de-catted scoob owners were concerned about passing the emission test with just the catted mid section pipe......so i decided to 'cobble'together a 'twin catted centre pipe' and i'm pleased to say that it passed its mot today
(with my scoobysport d/pipe still fitted)...the results were;
fast idle test...co level 0.03%
hc level 14ppm
lambda 1.00
natural idle ....co level 0.01%
.....so with my centre de-cat back on,anybody around the southampton area,with concerns about mot's is welcome to borrow it...e-mail as per profile or text on 07771 957104.

 

Some of the peeps at the Hants pub meet were hatching a plan to get one of these sections made up - is this the same consortium (Len/Chris+Jen...)?
Either way I'll be up for borrowing this when the old MoT's due in October (haven't got the full decat yet but feel it's not far away)

Jamie's correct in that Paul (BadBads),myself and Jen along with some others from the Hant's meet were going to get one built to be used at MOT time! Looks like you have beaten us to it! I think Paul's MOT is due in Nov/Dec time, we would all be grateful if we could borrow it at the required time.

Len,Chris..the more hants owners who can benefit from the pipe,makes it all the more worthwhile in me making it(all during works time,of course)
