The inside boot lever (by the driverseat) has just pinged on my UK300 anyone fixed it themselves or should I just take it back for the dealer to sort?

Has it broken by the drivers seat? or has it just stopped working, if it is the latter it could be have been disabled by accident in the boot. There is a cancel lever on the lock (well there is on my MY97WRX).
