I recently helped to convert the above to manual. Afterwards, the car had no speedo function, and the engine would idle at 1500rpm. I tried to locate the auto/manual select wire on the ecu, but have no way of finding it. I tried the V5 Link manual, but the wiring does not correspond.
I also located the wires for the speed sensor on the ecu, and connected these, as I see they should be, but the speedo just jumps around all over the place.
Can anyone help???
BTW, Dont ever bother doing a conversion, it really isnt worth it, as the owner is now discovering. He just wouldnt listen before we started. It might work out if we can get all the electrical issues sorted.
To top it off, the MAF has also just died now.
