Hi

Been noticing for the last few weeks that without the air con on there is a nasty smell of what can only be described as stale urine coming from the vents. I've visually checked the intake area and there doesn't appear to be anything stuck. Is this soemthing to do with the air con being on?

Cheers

Red face

Sounds like your a/c needs servicing and a re-gas
All that stale smell is bacteria thats formed in the pipework of your air con unit, if done properly it will be vacuum pumped for 15mins or so, then re gassed, that should clear it

Depends where you live but its normally around 60 quid to get your a/c done, dealers are a bit of a rip off in some cases so get the yellow pages out and ring round
