Did you let the car tick over with the rad cap off for a few mins...
Best thing is to remove a bit of coolant from the header tank and let the car tick over, you might find that the water will rise and start to over flow, if it does put the cap back on and turn engine off... and keep doing this till you see no bubbles.... you can squeeze the top rad hose to get the air out at the same time to..
Remember to top the header tank back up..!
It could be a broken rad cap.... is your coolant overflowing into the overflow..
Oh and put your heaters onto 'HOT' when the rad cap is off...!!!!!!!

Can anyone tell me if my car has a screw or nut on the top of the engine to let the air out the water system as ive changed the rad and it seemed to boil up i just hope the head gasket aint gone!!
