Does the Forester have the EJ20???

Hi all, Subaru Forester has been placed in the top 5 cars on the Irish Market fro relaibility, no breakdowns in 12 mths, soes the forestor turbo use the same engine as the impreza, if so why no failures?

Two possible reasons ?:-

- Lower powered to start with (175bhp not 215) so less stress
- Appeals to people who are less likely to modify than Imprezas
