Anyone know a sorce for high temperature grease ?
ie for use on exhaust system bolts, lambda sensor threads etc ?
And how high a temeperature can it stand ?
Now for the cheeky, grovelling bit. Anyone got any and could spare me 5ml or so ...
Thanks

AFAIK high temperature grease only works up to about 600C so you would fry it on an exhaust manifold.
I usually use one of the copper greases - Copaslip or something similar - the idea is that even though the grease evaporates/burns off you are still left with the copper particles to provide some lubrication.

I think it may well be the only option, if it's good enough for brake parts it should be fine for exhaust bits.
Failing that, try a dry lubricant, like graphite powder, also available in a stick form.
