Ask someone to 'park' badly near your car (or rather in it).
Worked a treat for me when I didn't want it to.

Wink

A slim flat-bladded screwdriver with a cloth round. push it under the bottom of the wedge, a little twist and out they pop.

Like anything - easy once you've done it!

Thumbs up

If you want some tips on painting those little beggers, then have a look here http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...ThreadID=98379

I haven't lacquered them, but there still fine after several months and a few thousand motorway miles.

Why, just throw them in the bin.

Much more simple idea:

1. take them off
2. strip them back with thinners
3. prime them - take loads of time and use thin coats
4. paint them with a paint mixed specially to your color code
once again - plenty of time and coats
5. repeat 4 but with clear lacquer
6. bake them off realy slow on top of say your central heating
boiler
7. Pop them back in and admire you handy work

Enjoy your driving for say 2-3 weeks then :

8. Have accident that requires the front of car repainting
and haave a body shop do it as part of the work !

Well this was the approach I took !

They are not silly, I love them, and will never remove or spray them.
Hopefully I'll end up as the last Impreza with orange grills
