No question about it Downpipe!

After fitting the D/P you may find you have a little more boost anyway.

Are there any downsides to getting a downpipe ?

Emissions, sensors going dodgy, risk of damage etc ?

Can you fit it and leave it, or do you need to start monitoring things ?

Is paranoia starting to affect me or is it just that people are out to get me ?

yeh has anyone seen any comparisons between the TSL and SS Downpipes? I would go for a TSL DP to match my TSL BB but I am in fear of it being too loud ! Someone I think said the TSL system was a bit louder than the SS system?

And a question I guess for anyone at TSL, is it likely that the TSL DP performs better than a SS when used with a TSL BB or is it much of a muchness considering diameter and twin dump system is the same in both cases?

Cheers
Alex

Does keeping with the centre section whilst uprating the BB & DP restrict the system ?

i put ss downpipe and back box on 1st and ran for couple of months.(didnt want to scar the neighbours)

put centre section on later, much more free flowing feel when moving, now. i could tell the difference each time.

Spence the TSL downpipe design appears to be almost identical to our one. I would expect them to perform the same.
