WRX Hawkeye - trunk welds - photos
Hi,
I’m newbie looking for WRX. Today I have looked at one WRX and inside trunk I saw these kind of welds / painting finish. Does it mean that car was heavily crashed? How does the OEM weld inside trunk should look?
Sorry for my English, I live abroad

Thnx @bunsofsteeeel - not very aesthetic Do you think that rust removal from this part should be quite easy and not expensive?

and have a good look up in around the top off the rear suspension turrets, cost wise to fix that properly won’t be cheap unfortunately, if you search on this site there’s lots of threads on this issue that might give you a good idea of how much work it is.

Arguably the rust looks pretty normal too. There won’t be many Newage Impreza’s without some rust there unless they’ve already been fixed. At this point I’d just accept there’s going to be rust issues with them and budget for getting it repaired then if by some miracle you find one without rust then you’ve just saved yourself some money and a lot of hassle.
