2.1 stroker guidance
Hello,
I have a JDM V7 STI that needs a rebuild. My plan is to leave the stock exhaust and injectors but future proof the engine for bigger power with a turbo, exhaust and injectors in the future. I would like to be ready for a safe 450 and so am future proofing with stronger parts.
I’m looking at going with a 2.1 stroker and EJ257 crankshaft. As the exhaust, intake and injectors will remain stock would the standard map accommodate this safely or would it require a remap?
appreciate your help.
