High Coolant Temperature with no error codes
I have an 07 Hawkeye WRX. For the last 2 days I’ve had coolant temps rising quite a bit, checking today it reaches the high point.
The coolant level has not changed at all. no knocking or other issues. Seems to run fine aside from the temp issue.
Noticed steam originating in I think the radiator and some sort of leak beneath it. Have a video for further clarity.
Is this just a regular coolant leak or a head gasket issue?
wanted to know as depending on which I plan to take it to the local garage or Subaru dealer for the fix.

I would be very worried if you've hit the high point on the oem gauge , as they are notoriously lacking in sensitivity compared with a dedicated water temp gauge. Check the level in the top header tank, not the clear plastic overflow tank. This should be full to the brim. It's not possible to have a leak and yet have coolant level stay the same. Drive it off boost to a specialist.....where do you live, for advice on good specialists?

Where did you check the coolant level ? It's checked up at the header tank when cold sits up at the turbo need to take the cap off have a look, not the level at the expansion tank which you can see through at the right hand side of the radiator
