Nah you don't bung it. I just refitted the recirculating pipe back on, with standard dv.

I bought a 2017 Golf R a few months ago and the previous owner had a blow off valve installed. I don't know much about how that works, but if I wanted to remove it, is there a stock part that I need to replace it with? Is there maybe a way to keep it but "disable" it so it doesn't make noise anymore? I asked a VW dealership but they said they wouldn't do it, so I'll need to find another mechanic that could do it, but I'd like to understand better what needs to be done first!
