Think I would have just done the suspension. As you don't want all the vibrations from the engine and transmission.

There purple power flex bushes , most of the vibration seems to be the gearbox and feel it in your seat , wondering do I keep the hardrace set ? It's meant to be harder rubber , engine mount ,pitch stop , and gearbox mount , or remove all that and go back to OE rubber ?

I've not yet replaced the transmission/engine stuff on the Impreza but did it before on an old ST200 Vectra and an Octavia vRS. On both the amount of vibration you got through the seat and wheel was too much IMO for a car that gets driven long distances or in traffic etc. It would be different in a car you pull out the garage and can hoon right from your door. With the Impreza I'm just going to do full Group N where possible and fresh stock rubber where it isn't. Hardrace stuff is decent although their delivery times can be a bit crap. I've certainly not noticed any poly bush like rattles/creaks/vibrations on the suspension bushes of theirs which I've fitted, just improved tautness.

I've replaced all the engine and transmission mounts on my hatch spec c for group N rubber mounts, with no real issues; however, when I replaced the pitch stop with a metal and polybush mount, it was horrendous. I'll be swapping back.
