Default Alarm immobiliser help

Hi I’m having problems with my 2005 wrx I’ve left it in garage for about a month locked. When I went to unlock using button on key I had nothing so I had to unlock manually with key. Battery was flat once I put jump pack on alarm went off but then stopped after a while and battery is now charged. The button on key will still not unlock car or immobiliser so the lights on dash come on but it won’t start. I’ve found 4 digit code in book but that won’t work so someone has probably changed it.is there any fuses that could of blown? How would you suggest I go forward cheers

Have you tried changing the battery in the key fob, that could be dead maybe

Hi I’ve put new batteries in both keys and they tested them at Subaru garage and they are working. The red key on dash goes off when keys in the ignition but can’t turn immobiliser off

Did you resync the key to the car after the battery swap?

Subaru dealer has given me another 4 digit code but that doesn’t work either I’ve found alarm unit to make sure it’s the original one and serial numbers match the ones in book. Is it possible to just get a new alarm ecu and pin then reprogram my keys?

Wonder if you could get an aftermarket alarm state system fired to bypass the original.

If you have found the alarm ecu and do indeed have the serial number, Ring scorpion automotive (01257 249928) and tell them the situation they will give you an alternative code. there's one for the user and there's one as an emergency override. so in effect it has two pin codes stored in it.

Once you get that and can get the car started we can run through how to recode your keys to your car
