Default Air con radiator

Hi anybody know if the Aircon rad is held in by anything ? Don't remember the old one having fixings new one has tapped bracket but would need to drill the slam panel to fit it ??

Database shows a grommet, spacer and screw on both sides

Possibly the grommet shown in your pic above ??

Wondering if I have the wrong condenser can't remember the old one bolted in tho

Part number for MY01/02 WRX / WRX STI is 73210FE000 superceded by 73210FE001

That's the same part numbers I have 2002 - 2007 is listed as the same tho I found a picture of a blobeye slam where the grommet looks lower down

MY03 onwards is part number 73210FE010

What the exact difference is I've no idea.

Could be that the mounting holes for *000/001 are 673 x 300 mm


and the *010 are 642 x 270+12.5 mm

It's confusing the HD one is 673 from centre of hole to end of radiator , next one if you look is 642 from same start then 32 to the same point giving 674 so there basically the same tho according to the discription like you say the part numbers are slightly different ,think Al try get the spacers and make a bracket tho the spacers are no longer available need to try a breakers

Measured the pitch between the rubber grommets ,it's 670mm only one I see that looks correct is this but part number SUBARU - OE-73210FE010

Cheers it's the large 32mm hub nut torque spec a think it's 186 nm
