Question

Just a small query, where are the best places front and rear to put a trolley jack under an Impreza to get the wheels off without bending anything on the underside?
Cheers for any input.
Rasher.

At the front, put it under the towing loops. One each side, just behind the bumper.

At the back, put it under the rear diff,

Rasher,

The diff will move (very worrying at first) when you try to lift it with a trolley, but it does take the weight. Used it myself to swap the backbox. Just make sure you put some wood between the diff and trolley jack to prevent any damage.

Obviously use some axle stands if you're crawling around underneath - we don't want any bacon rashers now do we
