Haven’t driven the scoob properly since before Xmas.
Just into January I had to jump start the car to get it going, no issues!
About a week later I went to drive it but the remote key fob wouldn’t unlock it...clearly dead battery, used the key to unlock it, put the jump box on it and the alarm wouldn’t stop going off. Interior lights on but wouldn’t start! Eventually stopped the alarm and got it started.
took it for a 20 mile drive thinking I’ll use it for the work the next day.
couldn’t risk waking the neighbours so didn’t put the alarm back on, merely locked the car again with the key.
the following day unlocked with the key, no charge. Jump box on and absolutely nothing!
Clutch down and no green light on the start / stop button.
when I press the start / stop button it beeps and the orange access key appears.
The red key also flashed repeatedly like it does with ignition on and the key out of the car!
Before I do the expensive mobile electrician does anyone have any ideas if I’ve managed to immobilise the car and if so how
on earth I rectify it!?
is it something as simple as a new battery in the key fob or a blown fuse where I’ve jumped it so much!?
New battery. If in doubt test it. One 20 mile journey on a battery that has needed a jump isn't enough.
Buy a Ctek trickle charger, which will also renovate old batteries
edit and don't repeatedly jump your battery!!!
Have you not got the spare key mate? If not message IMMOTEC on here and he will sort you a new one out. It will come in handy for various reasons including this problem your having 👍

John the MY11 on saloons do not have keys (apart from the emergency one) as such.
Even if the battery is only a year old, if it hasn't been kept fully charged (and it sounds like it hasn't) the current weather could have tipped it over the edge.
The newer cars with smart access, tracker and alarm have a higher demand from the battery when car is standing.
The smart key batteries should also be changed at least once a year.
