Default Exhaust upgrade question

Hi again!
Had a service done on my new car, mostly all good, a few minor issues, one of which is a small crack in the mid section of the exhaust.
Seems sensible to get it sorted asap before it becomes a bigger issue but I'm a bit lost on the best course of action.
I already have a de-cat downpipe and an aftermarket back box.
Do I just get a mid-section (If so, do i want a resonator/silencer or not?) and leave the standard cat-pipe with the de-cat downpipe or would it be better to get the Sports cat downpipe/cat-pipe combo and the new mid-section?
Which would offer better performance?
Also, would the downpipe sports cat replacement require a remap? It has had one done when the de-cat downpipe was fitted.
As ever, any and all advice appreciated!

If its decat now and you're going cat then yes you need a map.

Centre section is entirely up to you, do you want more sound etc.

So, currently it has a de-cat downpipe and a regular cat-pipe.
The sports-cat I am looking at on Scooby world replaces both with the sports-cat
So it will just have a different cat basically, don't want to go de-cat on both as it will be a pain for MOT if I understand correctly.

For something like that would still be worth getting the map checked. I might have just misunderstood you.

If you have a mid pipe with a cat and replacing it with the exact cell rated cat then in theory direct swap. But if its different get it checked

Ok, cool, thanks.
I will stick with the midpipe for now then.
Any advice on with or without resonator?

So my system was sports cat, non resonated mid pipe and then Afterburner Vortex. It was loud but thats what I wanted. In that respect I am biased and say you buy a scooby for the noise amongst other things. But I do understand if people want it quieter.

Is your car too loud right now or do you want more sound. If the latter then non resonated.

Its been mentioned previously about mapping when doing something like this. Some will argue you do others will say you don't. In theory if you're keeping the same flow rate then you shouldn't need a map at all.
