Default Engine Removal - Clutch Fork

Afternoon all,

I am in the process of removing the engine on my 2007 Impreza Hawkeye WRX and have everything now disconnected bar the transmission.

Now i was under the impression that upon removing the starter motor, there would be a place to unscrew the port to the clutch fork, down the side of the boot?

See pic below but i cannot see this anywhere and i literally have no idea how to progress now. This is the 5 speed WRX gear box if that makes any difference? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

07 WRX's have a push clutch, so no need to remove the pin etc, just pull the engine from the g/box.

Before i go out and try pulling the transmission, can i confirm i do not need to do anything to the clutch whatsoever?
