Default EML on during track day

I done my first ever track night last night. It was great but my EML came on. I came off track and connected the green connectors but it didn’t throw any codes. I left it for about 20 minutes or so and then tried again, still nothing. I disconnected the green connectors and tried the ignition and the light went out. Car was running fine. Didn’t go into limp mode. Anyone any idea or can give advice on a code reader? Edit:- WRX 2005
Thanks.

Dave

Sometimes Impreza's do throw up the odd fault spuriously, in my experience if it's serious the light stays on, if the light goes out after a few ignition off/on (about 5 iirc), it's usually just something has gone out of spec briefly.

Hope it's nothing serious.

Cheers,

Chris.

Got a reader coming next week(thanks for the advice Dom) I’ll hopefully get to the bottom of it.

Someone has told me it may be the Cam sensor because of over revving. I never redlined it at all so could this just be driver error?
