EQUAL OR UNEQUAL MANIFOLD
What model and year car do you have? Depending on that will dictate what you require. Unless you are starting from a ground up engine build and you can spec yourself in advance? Or you intend on changing numerous parts to make equal or unequal work? JDM cars tend to come with equal, UK/USDM/EUDM tend to come with unequal and therefore make the distinctive Scoobie rumble.

Don’t want to hijack the post however! Just read Pats input on 22b as per the link. Also then Iains post ref twin scroll and rotated set up. Now I know (on some level) the advantages of a rotated set up, being able to fit a bigger turbo amongst others. But to my mind surely going away from twin scroll is a step backwards? The OP obviously knows his plan better than I but to me twin scroll over single scroll wins. 2.1L over 2L wins. Is twin scroll 2.1L not the best of both? If the issue is the specific turbo mentioned by the OP was designed around the pulsed exhaust gases of a single scroll would it not be better to choose a turbo that works best in twin scroll set up and ditch the rotated set up? OP (Dazza) you said you were newish you Scoobies are you fully aware of the advantages and disadvantages and how the changes you make will affect your performance gains. No insult intended I’m just curious to the end result you want out of these changes. Loads of people would love to have a 2.1 TS motor.
Thanks for all it input,
I'e always wanted to go rotated but didn't have the enuf funds all at once ,so just slowly got every thing fitted,2.1,syvecs,flex fuel, etc the list goes on.
so now I've bought all my bits, just got the headers now.
I suppoe equal are built for twin scroll/unequal buit for single so it seems.
there's arguments for both sides and seems every body has there own view on it
but interesting info I've lernered in this thread thanks people,

there is a total difference between an equal / unequal tubular single scroll manifold (whether rotated or std position) and a factory twin scroll set-up............
you would need them to clarify why they are saying unequal??

Well I guess I'll after go with scoobycilinc, and make my own judgement
I seen it comments and Thanks,it seams a mixed reviews, and I've listened to vids to compare sound, and that all goes off what exhaust you have and other factors,
basically scoobycilinc have done all my work, expensive granted, but I've seen the race cars they tune,
I no them cars are in a different league to mine,so I suppose it' unequal works ,
I've seen a vid ,one of scoobycilinc's 2.1 gt30,and very impressed with it.
So there must be something why they use unequal headers ,am gonna ask kev @ scoobycilinc and post back
