Default Ej205 short block

Hi guys does anyone know if a ej205 short block will fit into a 2003 wrx with a ej205 long block?,and will the ancillaries bolt on to. Just thought about enquiring because you can pick up a new one for £2300 , looking at another potential option for replacing the engine. Cheers guys let me know what you think👍

EJ207 from importcarparts would be stronger and come with forged pistons and semi closed deck about the same price

I looked into getting a ej207 it’s just the insurance that’s the killer otherwise I would’ve gone that route.

Looks like the part quoted is a ej207.
As above 2.0 so no difference in insurance.
I think you will find ASperformance a little better on price.
