Default Fuel pump location on 2002 wrx wagon.

Mechanic has gone to change the fuel pump and can't find where to install it. I (and he) assumed it was accessible from a hatch under the back seats but it's all sealed.

Anyone know where and how to get them out?

It's in the boot as already said. You may be able to get at it by just removing the carpet in the boot but access is much easier if you still remove the entire rear seats, which only take a couple of minutes anyhow.

no need to remove the seats in a wagon / estate as they are easily accessible........

Yep all sorted. In the boot as described and no need to faff with the seats either.

New one all installed and fine.

Many thanks people.
